Light refreshments will be served. Come as you are! Members of the press are cordially invited and, in fact, encouraged to attend.

This is her third bid for Governor. Peg won an amazing 46% of the vote in 1990 when she ran in the Republican primary against Barbara Hafer, and garnered 13% of the vote in 1994 as an Independent candidate against Mark Singel and Tom Ridge. It was the highest vote ever attained by an Independent in a statewide election since the early part of this century!

Peg Luksik is widely known for her expertise in education issues, particularly Outcome Based Education, which she opposes. She is the co-author of a book entitled. "Outcome Based Education: The State's Assault on Our Children's Values" and was the host (for more than a year) of a television show called "The Learning Curve" on the National Empowerment Television network. She is the Founder and C.E.O. of Mom's House, a comprehensive service network for single parents and their children to help them complete their education. There are units in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York and Delaware.

"It is time to reclaim our American rights to raise our children without undue government interference, to protect our own property and to defend our families. We must stop electing career politicians who tickle our ears at election time and forget us on inauguration day" said Mrs. Luksik. "As a third party candidate, I provide a 'political home' for those who are tired of business as usual and want real change," she concluded.
