Tom Ridge supports managed health care - HMOs. He wants insurance companies and corporations to decide, for you, what health care you will receive. The "patients bill of rights" he steered through the Assembly does not give you the right to receive medical care - just the right to complain if you don't get it. It does not give you the right to sue if denial of care leads to injury or death. |
